A relay chain links multiple independent carriers into one seamless journey. When you dispatch a parcel, MetroPorter assigns each leg to the best available carrier — a boda boda picks it up locally, hands it to a bus for the intercity leg, and a last-mile rider completes the doorstep delivery. Every handoff is verified by QR scan.
Any registered carrier operating in Kenya can apply — boda boda riders, matatu operators, long-distance bus companies, truck owners, and hand porters. You just need a smartphone, a valid ID, and a willingness to serve.
We are building out from Nairobi first, expanding to major corridors including Mombasa, Kisumu, Nakuru, and Eldoret. Coverage grows as more carriers join the network.
Each carrier is paid automatically for their leg the moment it is confirmed by QR scan. Payouts are sent via M-Pesa instantly — no waiting for the full delivery to complete.

When the last-mile rider reaches the recipient, the recipient receives a 6-digit one-time PIN. The rider must enter this PIN in the app to mark delivery complete. If the PIN is not confirmed, the delivery is not closed — protecting both sender and recipient.
No. MetroPorter facilitates instant M-Pesa payouts directly to each carrier's registered number as soon as their leg is verified. We do not hold carrier funds.
No minimum. Individual senders can dispatch a single parcel, and businesses can dispatch in bulk. The platform scales to any volume.
